The IOMBBA is pleased to announce a Level 1 Coaching Course to be held on the 18th & 19th of February in Castletown.
This course will cover the basics of coaching the sport and successful attendees will obtain an EBBA Level 1 Coaching Qualification which is internationally recognised. This is a great opportunity to formalise your knowledge or start out as a basketball coach with a FIBA recognised certificate. The course is also ideal for Junior players who are seeking to expand their knowledge of the game.

The Isle of Man Basketball Association, in conjunction with NBC Camps, is pleased to offer a two day tournament training camp on Saturday 10th & Sunday 11th December 2011 for players aged 12-18. This camp will feature former American college player turned Coach, Kelsey Erickson, as well as a team tournament with prizes provided by NBC Camps UK.
Coach Erickson will bring expert insight and experience to help you develop your skills and provide top tips on how to become a college basketball player.
The camp will run 10:00-16:00 both days for a cost of only £15.

NSC, 03/11/11: The Isle of Man Basketball Association Junior League kicked off this past Thursday with Junior players from across the island competing in a round robin tournament of games. Junior players will meet once a month throughout the season to play against their peers from other centres across the island, training weekly between match dates to improve their skills with a hope of claiming the Junior cup.
There are regular Junior training sessions across the island in centres based in the North, South, West and East with weekly training provided by qualified and experienced coaches who have a passion for the game. These sessions are open to all Juniors aged 8-18, no matter what their skill level.
